Top price goes to the reserve champion from Steve Buckley has just sold at 20,000gns. This one is harf brother to sitlow centurion the 8000 national champ 2008 . this lamb by cairness carbon and is out of a homebred ewe by Strathisla Sinatra. The grand dam is by Conveth Motivator
This lamb will breed well at his new home Strathisla (the judge this year) and conveth
steve also had 1st prize single lot 44 selling for 4000 to j cambell

The champion, from cairness flock sold at 5000gns to roundacre. This one is by baileys Bacchus and is out of a Cairness Renovator daughter. Just before that, Jimmy sold another, this time by Fyvie Classic out of a homebred ewe by Cragroe Craftsman for 10,000gns .this is harf brother to cairness carbon this going to wells flock

lot 12 Robbie Wilson, Turriff, as he has just sold an embryo lamb by Strathisla Sea Bird for 18,000gns to benrafton flock. His dam, by Glenho Gurkha, is sister to strathisla Dylan Thomas, top price Edinburgh 2007 and sold for 48,000gns. The dam's ET sister was interbreed champion at Balmoral Show last year and another sister was interbreed at turriff in 2009.

lot 40 from the oldmill flock sold his first in a cairness achievement son sold for 2600 gns to rosden

lot 138 the lamb i had a mind to buy sold at 12000gns to messer Babour this a son of Baileys B.M.W (highland show winner2010)
lot 139 sold to ronnie blackfor 2500

Lot 170 the best of the string from C A Procter and Co, Aberdeenshire, has gone at 9000gns.
lot 118 2nd prize ram lamb from deveronside.This embro sired by last years champion and out of mieklelson impression ewe sold for 6000gns

This was for a triplet lamb by Cairness Achievement out of a homebred lamb by Castewellan Nutcracker.
lot 165 was sold for 1100gns to top irish flock Annakisha by last years top price ram cairness castello out of a perrintpit physique sired ewe

Selling for 6,000gn was a Baileys Headstart son from S. and W. Tait, of Lisnaharney Road, Lislap, Co Tyrone, to R. H. Goldie, Harper Croft, Dundonald. Also going at 6,000gn was a Strathisla Sea Bird son from Barclay and Lucy Mair, of Kinnermit, Turriff. The ram lamb was third at the Royal Highland and out of a Meikleson Impression ewe that won a first at Highland as a gimmer.

Buyer was Chris Holmes, of Rookery, Broadway, Worcestershire, who also paid 5,500gn for another Strathisla Speed son from Andrew Knox, of Mid Haddo, Fyvie.

Patrick and Heather Machray and their son, Rory, of Bilboa, Daviot, Inverurie, achieved their best price yet from their Middlemuir flock of 5,000gn for a Cairness Stockbroker son. They run 30 ewes. Joint buyers of the ram were Bruce Watson, of Gaval, Mintlaw, and Mr Douglas

  4. THE KINGS LAMB AND MORRIS LAMB MADE TO MUCH FOR US A SHREWSBURY
    THE WAS 2 I WAS AFTER AT EDINBURGH ONE WENT FOR 20,000 AND LET OTHER 12,000 MY DAD BID ON 3 DIFFRENT LAMBS BUT I AM VERY HAPPY HE NEVER GOT ONE, HE DECIED TO USE HIS LOT 178 ,(WELL HE PUT 2000 RESERVE ON IT AND NEVER GOT THERE) SO I BOUGHT HARF SHARE. I TOLD HIM EVER SINCE JUNE TO USE HIM .PUTING ALL MY SHEEP TO HIM

  5. If I had bought the Kings lamb aswell as the Rhaeadr lamb then I would have had the 2 best lambs of the year.

  6. nice to see some decent lambs making the top prices . Rhaeadr lamb is better the kings lamb was more of a chanser ,younger but little bit short of lenght
